Art Affaire

For the past seventeen years on the 4th Saturday in September, the streets of downtown Milford have come alive with Art Affaire. This juried art and fine craft event brings thousands of visitors to see hundreds of artists and entertainers and enjoy everything about our great city.

This event not only brings the community together but helps the Great Milford Area Historical Society maintain Promont Museum and continue to collect, preserve, interpret, and promote the history of Milford and Miami Township.

Art Affaire is the yearly major fundraiser of the Greater Milford Area Historical Society.

Art Affaire is the brainchild of the Greater Milford Area Historical Society. A yearly art celebration that draws thousands of visitors downtown, this event is actually a major fundraiser for the Great Milford Area Historical Society. Sponsorship allows the Society to continue to pursue their mission of preserving and sharing the history of Milford and Miami Township as well as maintain Promont Museum, an 1865 Italianate mansion that is open to the public on a regular basis.

Artists

Artist Applications for 2024’s Art Affaire are available below. A nonrefundable jury fee of $30 is required with the application.

An Early Bird special is offered that will give artists preferential access to a preferred booth space. Apply by April 15th to ensure this benefit.

We have 124 booth spaces available and will keep a waiting list until the week of the event.

Youth Artists

We are adding a youth section to this year’s Art Affaire.

Youth will be able to sell their work and there will be art activities to enjoy also.

Art Affaire has become a reality through the efforts of many volunteers. Some volunteers put in hours of effort while others give an hour. We need them all to make this the best event possible.
