Kick off the new year—and America’s 250th birthday—with a special open house at Promont.

Saturday March 28 2026 is your opportunity to visit GMAHS’s Promont Museum decorated in Victorian Holiday Splendor.  We are participating with the other Clermont County museums & historic sites to celebrate America 250 in the New Year.

Participating museums should be open from 10AM to 4PM so this is a great time to take in more than one site on your country ride.  Perhaps follow our 43rd Ohio Governor, John M. Pattison’s life trail from birth in the now Owensville Historical Society Museum to his death at GMAHS Promont Museum.  Travel just a short drive up State Route 28 from Promont Museum to the Goshen Historical Society Museum. So many interesting places await you.  We look forward to your visit.
