Steven Neuman, Bethel resident who became the first person to walk solo around the world, He covered 21,000 miles across 20 plus countries and 5 continuents from 1st April, 1983 to 1st April 1987. . His four-year journey, starting and ending in Bethel, Ohio, is documented in his book Worldwalk and his collection of letters, Letters from Steven.
